Guide

Start an online store

Your AI puts your products on your own site. Visitors pay through Stripe and the money lands in your own Stripe account. You can try it first without connecting anything.

Held in the cart

Click the shelf for a new customer, or choose how the cart holds stock.Clamp closed: held for one cartPulse: open pages show the new stock right away When a visitor puts a mug in the cart, a clamp comes down around that mug and the timer runs: 15 minutes by default, adjustable from 5 to 60. If the visitor checks out, the mug leaves the shelf; if time runs out, the clamp opens and the mug is for sale again. At checkout Spaicely sets the stock aside and only takes it off once the payment has gone through; if the payment fails, it goes back. Without holding, someone can find at checkout that the last one is gone: that counts as missed here. Selling something that is no longer there happens in none of the settings. A cart holds at most 5 of a product. Time runs 90 times faster here, the customers are an example and the shelf refills itself.

How it works

Your products live in a file on your site. Your AI manages that file, or you do it yourself on the store page in the dashboard. All products can also go back and forth as an Excel file.

Spaicely keeps track of stock. If two people are looking at your last mug and one checks out, the other sees the count drop at once, without reloading the page.

You are the seller. The buyer pays into your own Stripe account, by card, Apple Pay, Google Pay or whatever you switch on there. We charge 2% plus applicable taxes per payment, with one invoice a month.

Examples

What you can say

Take what fits, swap in your own names and send it to your AI.

Set up the store

You say:

Make a store on my site. I sell mugs for €16.95 and T-shirts for €29 in S, M and XL. Shipping in the US costs €5.95. Here are the photos. Put it in test mode first.

What happens next

Your AI makes the product pages, the cart and the shipping costs. In test mode you order as if for real, without Stripe and without paying. Confirmation emails and stock already work then.

Start selling for real

You say:

The test orders work. Switch the store on for real payments.

What happens next

Your AI gives you the link to connect or create your Stripe account. Test mode then goes off and payments go into your own account.

Keep track of stock

You say:

12 orange mugs have come in. Add them to the stock and warn me when there are 3 left.

What happens next

The stock goes up, even if someone is checking out at that moment. You get an email at 3 left and when something sells out.

Change prices

You say:

Take 10% off the price of all the T-shirts.

What happens next

Your AI changes the products and shows you first what will change. If you prefer Excel, download the list and upload it again; there too you see first what will change.

See your orders

You say:

Which orders are paid but not shipped yet?

What happens next

You get the list with buyer, products and address. The same orders are in the dashboard, with filters and an export.

Ship an order

You say:

Order 1042 shipped with USPS, tracking number 9400111899223100001234.

What happens next

The order is marked as shipped and the buyer gets an email from your store with the tracking number.

Hold the last one

You say:

Hold products in the cart for 15 minutes when there are only a few left.

What happens next

If the last one is in someone's cart, nobody else can buy it first. After 15 minutes it goes back, and the visitor is told so.

Invoices and codes

You say:

Give buyers an invoice that shows the tax and let them use discount codes.

What happens next

Both are settings of your store. You create discount codes in your own Stripe account; buyers enter them at checkout.

Good to know

  • A store has up to 500 products, with as many sizes and colors as you like. For now a store charges in euros.
  • You refund in your Stripe dashboard. Our commission then goes back in proportion. You correct the stock yourself.
  • As the seller you arrange your own terms and conditions, your returns page and your sales tax. Your AI can set up those pages, but the content is your responsibility.

Try it yourself
