Email on your own domain

If you already have email, it keeps working. Want info@ on your own domain? Forward it to the inbox you already have, or get real mailboxes with us.

Where your mail goes

Click for another letter, or on the knob for the other settingBand on the dial: above the spam limitLamp on: the setting of the domain A domain is on forwarding or on mailboxes, never both; the knob chooses. Every letter that comes in gets a spam score first. If it is above the limit, the pusher shoves it off the belt. With forwarding the rest goes through the tube to the address you gave, your Gmail for instance, and Spaicely does not forward spam. With mailboxes the rest lands in the recipient's inbox, with 10 GB per mailbox, and spam in the Junk folder. The letters and their scores are an example.

How it works

Forwarding is the simplest: mail to info@ arrives in your Gmail, for instance. Each address costs $1.75 a month plus applicable taxes, up to ten addresses per domain.

A mailbox keeps your mail with us, 10 GB each, and you open it in any mail program. You send and receive from your own address. Each mailbox costs $4.10 a month plus applicable taxes. A domain has forwarding or mailboxes, not both.

Both run on one mail subscription per company, paid a year in advance, and work without a site too.

Your AI can read a mailbox for you, if you allow it yourself. It can then only read: it can't send, move or delete anything, and mail it reads stays unread.

Examples

What you can say

Take what fits, swap in your own names and send it to your AI.

Forwarding

You say:

Forward mail sent to info@harpersbakery.com to tom.harper@gmail.com.

What happens next

Your AI sets up your domain's settings and adds the address. The destination confirms once with a link in an email. If your domain already has email somewhere else, it asks you first.

Create a mailbox

You say:

Create a mailbox priya@harpersbakery.com and invite Priya at priya.shah@gmail.com.

What happens next

Priya gets an email with a link, chooses her own password and gets a setup file for iPhone and Mac and a PDF for Outlook, Thunderbird and Android. She doesn't need a Spaicely account, and your AI never sees the password.

Check that mail arrives

You say:

Check that the email for harpersbakery.com is set up properly, and fix anything that's missing.

What happens next

Your AI looks at the settings that decide whether your mail arrives and stays out of spam. It repairs what's off and tells you what changed.

Keep your current email

You say:

My email is with Google. Make sure it keeps working when I connect my domain to the site.

What happens next

The settings for your email are copied before your domain switches. You won't notice a thing.

Let your AI read your mail

You say:

Is there an email in info@harpersbakery.com from the wholesaler about Friday's delivery? Summarize it.

What happens next

The first time you get a link; there you choose the mailboxes and confirm with your passkey. After that your AI searches and reads, and your mail stays unread. You can stop it whenever you like.

Antispam

You say:

Customers are ending up in my Junk folder. Turn off the spam filter for harpersbakery.com.

What happens next

Everything then lands in your inbox. Forged mail that the sender's own domain says to reject stays rejected.

Good to know

  • An AI never gets permission to read your mail through an email, and text in an email can't tell it to. You give that permission yourself, on a Spaicely page.
  • Mail your AI reads goes to your AI's provider. Think about that before you open up a mailbox with sensitive mail.
  • There's no maximum number of mailboxes. A new mailbox is charged right away for the rest of the year.

Try it yourself

Create an account

Create an account and connect your own AI. Then just say what you want: a site, a domain, a contact form.
