Build and change a site

You say what you want, your AI builds it and puts it online. Changes work the same way: just ask, even a year later.

Versions and rolling back

Click a drawer to put that version live.Lamp on: this version is live Every version you publish stays ready at Spaicely as its own folder. We keep the last ten; when an eleventh arrives, the oldest goes overnight. Going live means moving the pointer and clearing the cache: nothing is rebuilt. Rolling back does the same with an older version. After about ten seconds the version is live everywhere; here it is quicker, so you can see it.

How it works

Your AI writes the pages as ordinary files and sends them to Spaicely. We check them, make images smaller and put everything on servers close to your visitors. A change is usually live within half a minute.

Every time your AI publishes, a new version is created. The last ten published versions are kept, so undoing something takes one request.

For common parts Spaicely has ready-made blocks your AI puts on your site, such as a cookie notice, a mobile menu, an FAQ block and business hours that show whether you're open right now.

Examples

What you can say

Take what fits, swap in your own names and send it to your AI.

A new site

You say:

Make a website for my bakery in Portland, for local people. Three pages: home, our bread and contact. Warm and simple, in English. Here are my business hours and a bit about us: [paste your text]. Ask me what you still need before you start.

What happens next

Your AI asks its questions first, creates the site at Spaicely, builds the pages and publishes them. It also takes care of a 404 page of your own, an icon and the files search engines expect.

A small change

You say:

Put the holiday hours on the home page: December 24 until 3 PM, closed December 25 and 26.

What happens next

Your AI changes only that page and publishes a new version. Everything else stays as it was.

Back to the previous version

You say:

The home page just changed and I don't like it. Put the previous version back.

What happens next

The previous version is live again within seconds. The new one is kept, so you can still go back to it later.

A second language

You say:

Make the site in Spanish as well, with a language switcher at the top. Translate the text and leave the English pages as they are.

What happens next

Your AI makes the Spanish pages and adds the language switcher. If a visitor speaks a different language from the page, it offers them the right version once, without redirecting them.

A map or video

You say:

Put a map on the contact page, but only load it when someone clicks on it.

What happens next

Your AI uses our block for videos and maps. Google or YouTube gets nothing until the visitor clicks, so your site stays fast and you don't need a cookie notice for it.

Check before you share

You say:

Go through my site before I share it: titles, descriptions, preview images, broken links and whatever Google is still missing.

What happens next

Your AI reads the hints Spaicely makes at every publish and goes through the pages. You get a short list, and it fixes right away what it can.

How busy it is

You say:

How busy was my site this month, and is anyone hitting addresses that don't exist?

What happens next

You see the number of files requested per day, the amount of data, the addresses that gave an error and the regions. This is counted without cookies, so it says nothing about who came.

Good to know

  • A site starts with payment: choose a plan or a test month, then your AI starts building. Visitors see the site at an address of its own and on your domain if that's connected.
  • Rather do it by hand? On app.spaicely.com you upload a folder or zip and put versions live without an AI.
